CSA Pick-Ups Underway – Still Time to Join!
Getting ready to box the first CSA shares of the season.
Week one of our 23 week CSA program is now underway; we delivered boxed shares to Ithaca, Lansing, Dryden, Auburn, Aurora, Homer, and Skaneateles on Thursday; and on Saturday we had our first Ithaca Farmers’ Market pick-up of the season. This coming Tuesday we will be delivering to Syracuse, Marcellus, DeWitt, Baldwinsville, Lafayette, Cazenovia, and Liverpool, as well as the Tuesday Ithaca Farmers’ Market.
There is still time to sign-up for a CSA share the upcoming season. From here on, share prices will be prorated to account for missed weeks. The payment program will be shortened to 4 months for those that sign-up after June 10th, and three payments after July 10th. The crops look good in the fields and every day we are planting more so we should have plenty of room for late comers.
