Our Farm - Our Community - Locally Grown!

Ithaca Farmers' Market CSA Pick-up
Early Morning Farm began in 1999 with three acres of land, three friends and a garden-sized rototiller. With a vision to grow fresh, local, and organic food, while connecting to and strengthening a local community of eaters; the farm has grown to be one of the largest and most successful Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farms in our region.
CSA share members purchase a share of the harvest each growing season, and receive fresh organic vegetables each week. The goal of this arrangement is to bring the farm and community members together as shared stakeholders in the success of sustainable, local food production. Eaters and farmers are connected each week by the food that is produced, the stories of creating that produce, and the shared experience of preparing and eating the local bounty.

Packing CSA Shares
CSA members pick-up their weekly share at one of the over 20 neighborhood pick-up locations throughout central New York. Some pick-up locations are located in residential communities and serve as a weekly meeting place that helps bring the neighborhood together. Other locations are collaborations with locally owned small businesses and non-profits that share overlapping missions of sustainability, community wellness, and the local foods movement.
