CSA Harvest This Week

It’s hard to believe it, but fall crops are starting to sneak up on us a bit. This coming week we should see Cabbages in our boxes and maybe some Radishes and Collard Greens as well. Tomatoes are really starting to come on strong so there will be more of those next week. We are going to try and give peppers the week off so more of them can ripen. Ok! Here’s the Forecast:

Likely:
Tomatoes
Lettuce
Beets
Eggplants
Collards Greens or Kale
Cabbage

Possible:
Bok Choy
Swiss Chard
Onions
Radishes
Potatoes
Basil

Out for the Week:
Peppers
Maybe Summer Squash

Coming Soon:
Kohlrabi
more Kale
Napa Cabbage
Broccoli

Please, Please – Keep on telling your friends!

We are still taking signups. In fact, the students are about to head back to College and we count on picking up quite a few CSA members this time of year. So please help us keep doing our good work – spread the word about our CSA to all of your friends and relations!

Psst… Don’t forget to bring back your carefully un-folded boxes!
And keep on eating your veggies!

xoxo
