Last week in the harvest forecast – I predicted that we’d be starting our winter squash harvest beginning with the Delicata Squash. Well, we ran into a bumper crop of ripening sweet peppers to harvest and were not able to make it into the squash fields.
However, next week it looks like we will have our first winter squash. The return of Kale is also on our list. Tomatoes are waning for sure, but there are still plenty of peppers. Ok… Here’s the Forecast:

We still have 9 weeks left of CSA bounty! Our final Summer CSA pickups are the second week of November. Next week we’ll announce the Early Renewal Discount and Winter CSA Box programs that we’ve been planning.
