We are so, so, on the verge of the happy summer crops! Peppers and eggplants, Summer Squash and Cucumbers are just almost big enough for next week. And there are tons of green tomatoes in our high tunnels, just a few more weeks! We’ll be harvesting our spring planted Cabbages this week instead of Napa Cabbage.
Also this coming week – Carrots! We’ll be digging fresh carrots and bunching them with greens on. They won’t be huge carrots, but they will be fresh and very sweet.
It’s absolutely not too late to sign up for a share for this year! We typically raise our price a bit after the season begins but we don’t usually close out sign-ups. So tell your friends and relations about us – they’ll only pay for the weeks remaining when they signup.
Tracy and Emma show us how easy it is make Risotto.
