Stop by and check out our table at “Seed to Table – Healthy Local Choices” at the Auburn Public Theatre, Sunday March 2nd from 1:00-5:00pm. We’ll be answering all of your questions about our Auburn CSA Program. We’re excited to join the line-up they have planned focused on the local foods movement in Auburn, NY. In addition to learning all about our farm, and our CSA Shares there will be children’s activities, info on food preservation, community gardens, and hands-on activities. The evening is rounded out with a showing of the film, “Ingredients” sure to interest any local food lover!
We offer two CSA share options at our neighborhood pick-up location near Hoopes Park, on Thursdays. Our 2014 season runs June 12th – November 13th. CSA Members choose from our Basic Share – a 1/2 bushel box filled with 7-9 varieties of organic vegetables each week or the Premium share – a 3/4 bushel box filled with 10-12 varieties of organic vegetables each week. The Basic Share, for smaller households will fill you up with 30-35 healthy servings per week. The Premium Share, for larger households is sure to please everyone in your family, with 40-45 servings per week. CSA Share boxes include a wide variety of certified organic veggies each week, from strawberries in June to heirloom tomatoes and summer squash to delicious fall crops like winter squash and root vegetables. We keep connected with all of our members through our weekly e-mails with detailed share info, our monthly newsletter, and Facebook page. Weekly e-mails are just for members, but anyone can subscribe to our newsletter through our Facebook Page or website: www.earlymorningfarm.com
