June CSA Farm Tour Video

Our CSA harvests began in June, with tubs and tubs of vegetables working their way through the packing shed and into our CSA boxes. But, there was also plenty of other work to do! We planted tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, winter squash, summer squash, cucumbers, basil and more as the danger of frost past in the early part of the month.  We also had plenty of cultivation and hand weeding throughout the month to stay ahead of the weeds. And toward the end of the month we moved into planting fall crops – Broccoli, Kale, Collards, Bok Choi, Cabbages, Mustard Greens, fall Spinach, and later plantings of Carrots, and Beets are all going in over the next few weeks.

Also! We do still have more room in our CSA for more members!  If you already have a CSA share with us please tell your friends – referrals are bring us more customers than any other means!  Prices are prorated, so new members won’t pay for the weeks they’ve missed.
