Thanksgiving Prep

There’s a little bit of snow falling as we get the packing lists ready for our Thanksgiving Share Boxes, and everyone is getting excited for a Thanksgiving meal with locally produced food. You’ll likely be heading to your local co-op or grocery store this weekend, and there’s lots of things you can do to get ready for the big day in advance.

Shopping

  • Check our Local Sources Page for where to buy the best local goods!
  • Order your turkey – hopefully you already have but Good Life Farm still has them if you haven’t yet!
  • The Weekend Before. Stock up on packaged and dry goods like butter, sugar, flour, honey, maple syrup, canned goods.
  • Pick up your CSA Share. Saturday November 22nd or Tuesday November 25th.
