Tatsoi is a small leafy green member of the brassica family. It has a mild flavor excellent for salads and stir-fries. It is often found in salad or lettuce mixes. The flavor is mild with a hint of mustard, best lightly cooked or raw. Similar to spinach, remove the stem and prepare as any leafy green.

Storage

Store unwashed in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.  Tastes best within the first few days.

Preparation

Rinse leaves in cool water and remove stems. Perfect in stir-fry, soup, or enjoy raw in a salad.
