Raise your hand if you’re enjoying this warm weather! It’s been great for our crew to have some sunshine while they bring in the fall harvest. This week’s share is really filled to the brim with the some great crops. Radishes are back, fall radishes are always really bright and large with nice greens. This week’s meal plan has a recipe from our first radish harvest in June, mix the radish greens with lettuce for a salad with great texture. We also have sweet and mild Hakurei Turnips returning! Also known as salad turnips these are surprisingly light and tasty. The first acorn squash are making it into the boxes, along with delicata. These will store for a while on the counter if you want to tackle the rest of the box first. The crew brought in huge napa cabbages! We included a recipe that will use about half, then check our site for more inspiration. Two of the recipes in this week’s meal plan include kale – half of a bunch should be plenty for each recipe! As fall gets under way, we’re offering early sign-up discounts and Winter Share sign-up is going strong! Get all the details below.
